Vintage Deco Cabochon Coral Onyx Emerald Oval No Heat Sapphire Diamond Ring GIA

A refined vintage ring in the Art Deco style, beautifully executed in platinum and centered by an approximately 2.70 carat oval overcut natural sapphire of saturated cornflower blue color. The sapphire has a rich, luminous presence, made especially desirable by its accompanying original GIA laboratory report stating Sri Lanka/Ceylon country of origin with no indication of heat treatment.
Made in the Art Deco taste rather than original to the 1920s period, the ring captures the geometry, color contrast, and decorative precision associated with Deco design. Sections of coral, onyx, and emerald create a vivid architectural frame around the center stone, while single cut round diamonds accent either side of the sapphire with subtle brilliance.
