A bold pair of vintage door knocker earrings, circa the 1960s, crafted in 18 karat yellow gold with a richly textured, dimensional finish. The design has a substantial sculptural presence, with rounded surmounts suspending open hoop drops, both decorated with a combination of hammered and ridged detailing. The earrings retain their purity stamps and maker’s marks, though the maker is not attributable to a house we are familiar with. The backs have been repaired and replaced with 14 karat omega backs; posts can be added if desired.
