Estate 18K Yellow Gold Satin Finished Cushion Tanzanite Diamond Huggie Earrings

A beautifully made pair of designer huggie earrings crafted in 18 karat satin-finished yellow gold with a rich Byzantine-inspired design. Each earring is centered by a vivid cushion-cut natural tanzanite, with approximately 9.00 carats total weight between the two stones. The tanzanites are framed by bezel-set round diamonds totaling approximately .90 carat, graded G-H color and VS1-VS2 clarity. The earrings have a substantial, sculptural presence with a finely textured satin finish, ribbed gold detailing, and a bold architectural form. The backs bear maker’s marks, purity stamps, and a copyright mark dated 2000; while we are unable to attribute them to a specific maker, the quality and construction are unmistakably designer. They are fitted with posts and omega backs. One tanzanite has a small surface scratch on the table, visible in close photography and under inspection, but not noticeable when worn.
