Antique Deco Platinum Old European Diamond Sugarloaf Sapphire Flower Brooch
An extraordinary and completely original Art Deco flower brooch, crafted in platinum and set with exceptional gemstones in a stunning floral motif. The petals are formed by near briolette-cut, pear-shaped natural citrines, totaling approximately 50 carats, with rich golden hues that capture and reflect the light beautifully. At the heart of the piece sits a striking, high-domed sugarloaf cabochon sapphire of approximately 1.00 carat, adding deep royal blue contrast. The rest of the brooch is bead-set with about 2.93 carats of original old European cut diamonds, graded G–H in color and VS1–VS2 in clarity.
This brooch is a true statement of Art Deco craftsmanship and beauty. The pin has been replaced with a sturdy 14K gold mechanism for secure wear, but the brooch itself remains in exceptional antique condition.
