A beautifully preserved piece of jewelry history. This original Georgian period brooch has been done in 18K multi-toned gold and silver topped in sections set with rose and peruzzi cut diamonds. Side section tassels are attached to the piece but do fully articulate. The focal point is enamel painted porcelain displaying a lady watching a gentleman playing the mandolin. A beautiful design and very desirable subject matter.
