Vintage Cabochon Jade Diamond Ruby & Onyx Large Cocktail Ring GIA

An exceptional circa 1970s cocktail ring crafted in substantial 18 karat yellow gold and centered by an impressive approximately 50 carat natural cabochon jade, accompanied by its original GIA laboratory report confirming no indications of treatment. The large oval jade displays a beautiful softly mottled green color and is dramatically framed by polished black onyx, vivid red natural rubies, and approximately 0.30 carat total weight of round brilliant cut diamonds graded approximately G–H color and VS1–SI1 clarity. Bold and architectural, the sculptural mounting and striking combination of jade, onyx, ruby, and diamond are quintessentially 1970s, creating an extraordinary statement ring with tremendous presence on the hand. The ring is a size 5 and is fitted with sizing beads, which can be removed to accommodate a larger finger size. Exceptionally substantial, the ring weighs an impressive 29.3 grams.
