Estate 18K Vivid Ruby Baguette & Princess Diamond Heavy Bamboo Cocktail Ring

An impressively well-made estate cocktail ring, circa 1990s, crafted in substantial 18K yellow and white gold. The architectural white gold centerpiece is channel set with approximately 1.60 carats total weight of natural vivid red baguette-cut rubies, flanked on either side by approximately 0.80 carat total weight of princess-cut natural diamonds ranging G–H in color and VS1–VS2 in clarity. The substantial yellow gold split shank is composed of three distinct sections with a sculptural, stylized bamboo-like design, giving the ring exceptional dimension and presence on the hand. The ring bears an unidentified maker’s mark that we have been unable to attribute to a particular designer or workshop.
