Now this pair of earrings has a bit of a story. They were bought from the family of a lady who absolutely loved her jewelry. We purchased some very large diamonds as well as designer pieces that are going to auction as well. What we were told was, at one point these earrings were centered by identical natural stones but were removed to make rings for both of her daughters. Apparently the jewelry house that was commissioned to do this job was robbed and the stones were never seen again. How incredibly special those stones must have been; such a tragedy.
